Sometimes we receive messages from Christians trying to convert us into their slave religion, as our Law of Liberty is clearly threatening to them. Here is a reply to one such e-mail — the original e-mail is found in quotations. [Originally posted December 28, 2016]

To Sister Sarah G and all those at the Childrens Mercy Foundation,

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

Thank you for your message. I appreciate your concern and am glad that you take the Word seriously enough to be concerned of others’ reception thereof. Assuming your assertions and questions are in earnest, I will then respond in earnest:

The religion that you are involved is Satanic. Conjuring spirits,astrology, yoga, sorcery, transcedental meditation, and magic are condemned by God who is your Creator.

Our religion does not necessitate conjuring spirits, astrology, yoga sorcery, or the like. Our religion requires that you find your True Will and you do it. These things are not condemned by God — they are, at least, used by his leaders such as King Solomon. Many rabbis have taught various forms of meditation and what is prayer but the directed meditation fed by the divine Love (Agape)?

This religion teaches that you can be your own God, and you can use magic to attain special powers, but where do you think these powers are coming from? It certainly isn’t God because you are not asking Him for it. The whole theory of “Doing what thou Wilt” is opposed to the Divine Law given to us by Christ which is to “Do what our Father Wills”.

This is a common misconception, sister. The whole theory of Doing what thou Wilt is that it is a fulfillment of the Divine Law. The “True Will” of Do what thou wilt is the Will of the Universe, the Will of God as it moves within the body and mind of the individual. The entire philosophy of Thelema is built upon the truth of finding God within oneself, just as Meister Eckhart the Christian mystic did: “‘The eye through which I see God is the same eye through which God sees me; my eye and God’s eye are one eye, one seeing, one knowing…”

In fact, we say that “Love is the law, love under will”. This means that the method of Will is always that of Love. And we know that “God is Love” (1 John 4:8). Is this not a fulfillment of the Lord as he spoke among Men: “And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.” (Luke 10:27).

Satan has always tempted man to think that they will be happier doing what they like but the truth is, True Happiness only comes to those who are Living inline with the WIll of God, because God wants the best for us and Satan wants us dead. Satan wants to possess the souls of all those in this religion, which is why he has led you into the Occult. You can view the testimonies of countless people who have had to have exorcisms as a result of being in Satanic religions, like Thelema.

To us, our “Satan” is restriction. The dogmatic ideals of Man that have sprung up are contrary to God’s Law. We say “There is no law beyond Do what thou wilt” because the Divine Will within each of us is the primary goal of achievement. To become one with that Will, to Will what He Wills, and therefore to become One Will, is the highest of goals. As it is written: “Thou must (1) Find out what is thy Will. (2) Do that Will with (a) one-pointedness, (b) detachment, (c) peace. Then, and then only, art thou in harmony with the Movement of Things, thy will part of, and therefore equal to, the Will of God. And since the will is but the dynamic aspect of the self, and since two different selves could not possess identical wills; then, if thy will be God’s will, Thou art That.”

What would make you want to follow a religion that is satanic to begin with? Alleister Crowley is known for being evil. “Should we not rather breed humanity for quality by killing off any tainted stock, as we do with other cattle, and exterminating the vermin which infect it?” (The Law is for All, pg 15) Surely this sounds utterly wrong to you!

Perhaps he was a bit quaint at times, even silly and brutish, although always a jokester… the difference is we do not aim to imitate Aleister Crowley. We do not follow Aleister Crowley’s Will. We follow our God’s Will. The Divine Will as is it found within your own Heart. Hath it not been said: “The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:21)

The only difference is that we take the word of Christ seriously when he says “Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?” (John 10:34). Further: “The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.” (Matthew 6:22). And: “At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.” (John 14:20). That is, we seek to know Christ so well, to love him so singularly, that there is no difference between Him and Us, and that His Will works through ours through love under will.
